1. Introduction

RunMate Pro ("the App") is operated by TapeGeeks Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App and website at runmatepro.com.

We have designed RunMate Pro with privacy as a core principle. The App does not require an account and stores your data locally on your device.

2. Information We Collect

In the App

RunMate Pro stores all your data — runs, routes, shoe information, and settings — locally on your device. We do not receive or store this data on our servers.

Optional: If you enable Apple Health integration, RunMate Pro will write run data to Apple Health. This is controlled entirely by you and can be revoked in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health at any time. We do not read data from Apple Health.

On This Website

We use Plausible Analytics to understand website traffic. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track users across websites. All data is anonymized and aggregated.

3. Location Data

RunMate Pro requests access to your device's location ("Always" or "While Using") to enable GPS run tracking. Location data is used only to record your route during active runs and is stored exclusively on your device. We do not transmit your location to our servers.

You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > RunMate Pro.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not share your data with analytics providers, data brokers, or social networks.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All your run data is stored on your device. To delete all data, uninstall the App. We do not retain any copies of your run history.

6. Children's Privacy

RunMate Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
